"Things were doing ok until today when I was told that our policy would be cancelled in May 2025. I was told that we had 4 incidents in 5 yrs. The last one occured on May 3rd 2024 when my Ellen's truck was struck from the front left by another driver. The accident was reported eventually as not our fault. State Farm was not responsible for any physical damage. In any case this one accident was #4 and caused State Farm to decide to boot us out. They waited about 4 or 5 months before we got the cancellation notice. There was some personal injury reported by Ellen. She bit down with her teeth during an attempt to avoid the wreck and brake. One tooth I believe was #40. We used our pip insurance to pay the dentists. We got into the dental work with several dentists a while back but just today got notified that the various procedures would cause our insurance to be terminated. Most of the dental work was done in 2024. It included various estimates, extraction of the tooth and the an attempt to implant a post and later to install the porcelain cap. Only problem was that the post installation failed. It fell out into the dentists hand. This year we decided to have a bridge installed. Ellen's teacher retirement covered some the cost. We paid out of poket for the bridge. We had paid up front for everything else. We got reimbursed using pip Auto insurance for about 1600 dollars. Later we sent in a proof of purchase for 3200 dollars which Michelle sent in to get us another pip payment. We never got this from Adler Insurance whom we had hired before Michelle told me about the pip option. I didn't realize State Farm had paid the 3200 dollars. Just found out that the 3200 dollar check was never cashed by Adler Insurance. Anyway these pip payments are what caused us to get let go by State Farm. This is not a good time to be cut loose."
